About Gianni Benfatto

Benfatto ("well-made" in Italian) is the realization of one boy's passion for coffee. At age 15, the boy they called Gianni took his first part-time job in an Italian espresso bar creating espressos and cappuccinos, and selling pastries. Without any prior barista training, Gianni understood the romance of coffee with the very first espresso he made. His greatest pleasure came from conversing with his patrons, and watching them enjoy his creation, Benfatto - the perfect coffee. By using only the finest beans, grown at high altitude in the best coffee producing areas of the world, Gianni's passion for coffee continues even today.
